New Feature: Ask an Expert!
Have you or a loved one just been diagnosed with a form of arthritis? Do you have a question about a new medication or a "natural" remedy you read about on the internet? E-mail your question to us here at the Arthritis Association of Louisiana. We will put your question to a panel of experts and get back to you with an answer!

  • The Find A Prescription Drug Plan Tool is an online tool that shows how each Medicare Part D (government prescription drug coverage) plan works and how much you can expect to pay in premiums and drug costs in your area under each plan, as well as how much you can reduce your drug costs by substituting generic or other drugs for more expensive medications.

  • Effective and Safe Prescriptions, research on nine different classes of the most frequently used drugs, is available online from the AARP.

  • The AAOLA has been prominently featured, pro bono, in the magazine Baton Rouge Business Profiles and on their website. We appreciate publisher Rich Feldman's help in spreading the word on our activities and programs!

  • The following two sites might be of use to patients from the New Orleans area who are trying to reconnect with their physicians. Please note: if you are having trouble finding your doctor, please contact the AAOLA directly; we may be able to help.
